Security
Please allow time for security screening when entering the NCI Shady Grove campus. All visitors must sign in at the guard desk and submit to a security inspection. You will need a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. Visitors will be required to pass through a metal detector and have bags, backpacks or purses inspected or x-rayed as they enter the building.
A representative from the conference will help you sign in at the guard desk and will escort you to the meeting room.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
By Car or Taxi:& Drive time is estimated at 40 minutes (25 miles) to NCI Shady Grove, depending on traffic.
By Metrorail: Travel time is estimated at 60 minutes. Take Metrorail from the airport to the Shady Grove Metro station. Transfer from the Yellow to Red Line at Gallery Place and exit at Shady Grove.Metrorail hours of service varies by day.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
By Car or Taxi: Drive time is estimated at 50 minutes (40 miles) to NCI Shady Grove, depending on traffic.
By MTA Route 201 Bus: Travel time is estimated at 80 minutes. Coach bus from BWI to Shady Grove Metro station. At BWI the bus stops near Concourses A (Southwest Airlines) and E (International terminal). Seedaily time timetablesas hours of service varies by day.
Dulles International Airport (IAD)
By Car or Taxi :Drive time is estimated at 60 minutes (40 miles) to NCI Shady Grove, depending on traffic.
By Metrorail:Travel time is estimated at 110 minutes. TakeMetrorail from the airport towards Largo. Transfer from the Silver to Red Line at Farragut West and exit at Shady Grove.Metrorail hours of service varies by day.
Transportation
Hotel Shuttles
A complimentary shuttle service is available from some of the hotels on a first come, first serve basis. The times and schedules will be provided in your reminder email prior to the workshop. If you miss the shuttle to and from NCI, rideshare options (Uber, Lyft) are readily available. If you prefer to make use of a taxi, two companies are listed below or ask for assistance from the hotel concierge.

NCI Visitor Parking
Visitors to NCI Shady Grove should park in the NCI Shady Grove garage, which is directly across from the campus building. Visitor parking tickets can be validated at the guard station in the lobby after a visitor has signed in.
By Metro
Metrorail service is available from the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Dulles International Airport, and Union Station (railway). To get to NCI Shady Grove, take the Washington, DC Metro Red line to the Shady Grove stop (terminal station). Exit the Metro station. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft options are readily available.

We request that all in-person attendees pack COVID-19 test kits and test themselves prior to attending the meeting at the NCI Shady Grove campus. If you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms such as, but not limited to fever, chills, cough, body aches, or loss of taste or smell, please do not enter/attend the meeting.
