The workshop on Sleep and Cognition: Current State of Research and Future Directions is a virtual event taking place June 25 - 26, 2026.
A Trans-NIH Workshop hosted by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in collaboration with the National Institute on Aging (NIA).
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is convening a meeting, held virtually over two half-days, to advance knowledge about the relationship between sleep and cognition. The meeting will provide a platform for knowledge dissemination and collaborative dialogue. Workshop presentations will highlight current scientific methodologies, findings, and implications of sleep and cognition health across multiple conditions and populations. Through in-depth discussion sessions, the meeting will identify critical gaps in knowledge, research challenges, and outline priorities for future investigations to advance public health and scientific understanding in this critical area.
