Abstract Submission

We invite abstract submissions focused on the meeting theme: Advancing Implementation Science Across the Cancer Control Continuum. To submit an abstract for consideration as either a poster or oral presentation, use the form below.

Submissions will be reviewed based on the following abstract criteria:

  • Demonstrates rigor and relevance to implementation science in cancer control.
  • Aligns with at least one CCIS action group theme or objective.
  • Sufficiently addresses the meeting theme.
  • Illustrates the impact of science through intervention, methods, models, and study design.

CCIS encourages early-stage investigators, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, and practice partners to submit abstracts for consideration. Abstracts may describe research in progress and project completion is not required at the time of the conference.

Please note that all materials may undergo a review and approval process to ensure they are accurate, consistent, and aligned with NCI’s mission, goals, and current priorities. Submissions that do not reflect these standards may require revision.

The submission deadline is Monday, August 25, at 11:59 pm EST.

It is not possible to save partially completed abstracts. Therefore, we recommend preparing and finalizing the abstract and related information in a Word document, then cut and paste text into the appropriate fields. You will receive confirmation following your submission. If you do not receive the confirmation email (check your spam box also), please contact CCIS@icf.com.

Notification of acceptance will be in mid-October 2025. If an abstract is accepted, the corresponding author (or designated co-author) must register and attend the meeting in person; otherwise, the abstract will be withdrawn.
