Overview

The Consortium for Cancer Implementation Science (CCIS) annual meeting taking place in-person from February 26-28, 2025, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina will be hosted by Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center. The annual meeting provides an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and investigators to collaborate and advance the field of implementation science (IS) in cancer.

Meeting Objectives

CCIS seeks to develop a new approach for the field to work together to address key challenges and identify and develop new areas of investigation toward advancing the implementation science agenda in cancer control.

This year’s annual meeting will feature a variety of panel presentations, action group meetings, and a poster session focusing on facilitating the adoption and systematic uptake of publicly available implementation science tools and resources across the cancer control continuum in community and clinical settings.

The audience for the CCIS meeting includes individuals engaged in implementation science across the cancer continuum. This includes scientists, public health and healthcare practitioners, government and community-based organization employees, advocates, and other partners in the cancer community.
