Workshop Objectives:

The main goals of the workshop are to
1. Identify challenges and knowledge gaps in Gyn translational research 
2. Highlight advances in the field 
3. Define resources and technologies 
4. Foster collaborations among the Gynecological Cancer SPORE sites, patient
    advocates, and NCI staff.

  • Report on current status of gynecological cancers SPORE portfolio 
  • Overview of gynecological cancers SPOREs by the PIs
  • Special Talk from FDA - Overview of what is new about the drug development regulatory requirements and approval procedures for gynecological cancer treatments
  • Combination therapies and Immunotherapy
  • DNA repair and PARP inhibition 
  • Working Group 1 - Novel technologies for translating bench to bedside and beyond
  • Early-stage investigators
  • Tumor biology, early detection, and prevention
