Overview
The Center for Global Health (CGH) periodically fields a survey to all NCI-Designated Cancer Centers to provide a holistic view of their activities in global oncology and identify opportunities for cancer research and control collaboration. Past surveys have taken place in 2012, 2014, 2018, and 2021. The next survey will take place in 2026.
This page is primarily intended to share data and facilitate the exchange of information with NCI-Designated Cancer Centers participating in the survey, including registration and information about data-sharing webinars in early 2023. For general information about the survey, please refer to the survey page on the CGH website. Additional information about CGH is also available on the CGH website.

The development and dissemination of the 2021 survey was done in collaboration with the NCI Office of Cancer Centers, the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Preventive Oncology, and five NCI-Designated Cancer Centers: Carbone Cancer Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
Cancer Center data
All data shared on this page is aggregated. Faculty and staff at NCI-Designated Cancer Centers can request access to their cancer centers' detailed data, including custom visualizations. Data will be shared in an MS Teams site, and this site will also be used to collect and disseminate data from future global oncology surveys. To request access, contact Tosca Le and Elise Garton. Cancer center data will not be shared with anyone outside of the cancer center.
