This year marks the 9th anniversary of the Staff Scientists and Staff Clinicians (SSSC) Outstanding Mentor Award, which recognizes excellence in mentoring and guiding the careers of trainees in cancer research. The winner(s) will be recognized at the Annual CCR and DCEG Staff Scientists and Staff Clinicians Retreat on Friday, April 26, 2024.
Current NCI SSSC who serve as mentors may be nominated with the exception of those who have received the award in the past five years. See a complete list of previous winners on this website.

If you are a current or recent (departed NIH in last 12 months) postdoctoral fellow, research fellow, or clinical fellow, and interns use this opportunity to nominate your outstanding mentor. The deadline for nominations is Sunday, March 31, 2024.
