Overview
The NCI’s Cancer Community Partnership (CCP) is launching a new monthly series titled “In the Know” that reviews scientific concepts commonly mentioned in the media and during scientific presentations. This monthly series aims to enhance the knowledge of the cancer community and further understanding of complex scientific concepts.
In the Know Seminar Series will:
- allow members of the cancer community (patients, survivors, advocates, etc.) an opportunity to provide valuable feedback on the presenter’s presentation
- learn first-hand from scientists who work on the indicated scientific concepts
- provide opportunities for scientists to develop their science communication skills
