The retreat will be held at the Cloisters Convent (Building 60, Lecture Hall & Classroom 134) on the NIH Campus in Bethesda.

All visitors will be processed at the NIH Gateway Visitor’s Center (Building 66). The Gateway Visitor’s Center is located adjacent to the Medical Center Metro Station at the South Drive entrance to campus from Rockville Pike / Wisconsin Avenue (Route 355). You may reach the Gateway Visitor’s Center by Driving, Metrorail or Campus Shuttle. Parking is extremely limited on campus so you are strongly encouraged to arrive via Metro or drop-off to the Gateway Center for pedestrian processing.
Visitors will be required to show one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID-driver's license, passport, green card, etc.) and to state the purpose of their visit. Please allow at least 15 minutes to clear NIH security before heading to the meeting area.
Once inside the NIH, you can take the Campus Route Shuttle (RED LINE) to Convent (Building 60). The Shuttle leaves approximately every 15 minutes. Do not take the Campus Limited (Purple Line) shuttle as it will not go to Building 60/Convent.
