Abstracts
Abstract Deadline
The deadline for abstract submission will be December 15, 2024. Abstracts detailing significant findings in the categories listed below will be considered for an oral presentation at the SeroNet Investigators Meeting. Those selected for an oral presentation will be notified at the end of January 2025. Those not selected for an oral presentation will be invited to present a poster.
Note: Presenters are expected to attend the meeting in person.
Content of Abstracts
Each abstract should contain:
- An introductory sentence indicating the purposes of the study.
- A brief description of pertinent methods.
- A summary of the results.
- A statement of the conclusions.
Abstract Format (Abstract Template)
- The abstract should be a PDF file and the total length should not exceed 1 page.
- The abstract should be 500 words or less (not including title or author string) with page margins of 1”.
- The abstract should be single-spaced, using Arial 11-point font.
- The abstract's title should be bold, Arial 11-point font, and should clearly represent the nature of the investigation.
- After the title, skip one line and list the author's first and last names as well as affiliation, city, state, and country (if outside the U.S.).
- Separate multiple authors with a comma and underline the primary author's name (one primary author per abstract).
- Use one blank line between the title and the authors, the authors and the body of the abstract, and between paragraphs.
- The abstract file should follow this format: LastNameofPrimaryAuthor_FirstWordofTitle (e.g, Smith_SARS-CoV-2).
- Do not use subheadings (e.g., Results, Conclusions).

Note: Abstracts not selected for an oral presentation will be invited for a poster presentation
