Objectives

  1. Facilitate knowledge exchange and collaborations among scientists, clinicians, other healthcare professionals, survivors, patients, and advocates, focusing on the integration of microsystem technologies in cancer care.
  2. Discuss innovations and trends in microsystem applications.
  3. Showcase real-world applications and personalized medicine advances using these technologies.
  4. Address challenges and opportunities in translating and implementing these technologies into clinical practice.
  5. Explore solutions for health disparities and adaptation to low-resource settings.

Workshop Agenda

Day 1: Innovative Technologies, Real-World Applications, and Personalized Medicine

The first day of the workshop is dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in microsystem technologies and their application in cancer diagnosis and management. The sessions will cover cutting-edge innovations, real-world applications in clinical settings, and how these technologies are being tailored for personalized medicine.

Day 2: Overcoming Barriers to Adoption and implementation

The second day focuses on addressing the challenges and barriers that delay the clinical adoption of microsystem technologies. Discussions will explore regulatory pathways, manufacturing issues, and collaborative strategies necessary for effective implementation and wider acceptance in healthcare.
