The National Cancer Institute's Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG) will hold their 13th Fellow’s Training Symposium on May 14th, 2021.
The theme for this year’s symposium is “The Lifetime Impact of Cancer: Experiences in survivorship research, advocacy, and policy”. Through this theme we envision broadly exploring the wide impact of cancer from bench to bedside and everywhere in between. A distinguished expert panel of resident DCEG, external scientists and thought leaders will facilitate a debate on this highly relevant topic. Through the stimulating plenary talks and a thought-provoking panel discussion, we will delve into understanding the diverse experiences many have with cancer and how their stories intersect to create the current cancer research environment.
