The NCI Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) recently established the Paul Fearn Award for Excellence in Data Sharing to recognize DCCPS-funded investigators who have demonstrated a commitment to and excellence in data sharing. In this inaugural year of the award, we are acknowledging the efforts of many years of extramural work funded by DCCPS and have selected multiple recipients from four projects. These investigators and their teams demonstrated commitment to widespread public data sharing and went above and beyond their data sharing requirements.
