Overview
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) will host the 2026 DCCPS Fellows Symposium on July 30th, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at NCI Shady Grove TE110, with opportunities to observe virtually. As the preeminent event for fellows and interns to showcase their work in the division, the symposium will include oral and poster presentations from fellows and interns, a keynote panel, and awards for best oral presentation, poster presentation, and Mentor of the Year. All staff and contractors are welcome to attend to support DCCPS fellows and should register for the event.
All DCCPS fellows and interns are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for either an oral or poster presentation on a topic of their choice. They are also invited to nominate outstanding staff members for the Mentor of the Year award. View the 2025 poster session abstracts and biosketches and the oral presentation abstracts and biosketches for examples of previous presentations.
Note that abstracts and nominations are due June 8, 2026 for full-time fellows (postbacs and postdocs), while these are due June 29th for summer interns. For any questions or concerns, please contact Richard Moser at moserr@mail.nih.gov.
