Directions to the Neuroscience Center Building
Metrorail service is available from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and from Union Station (railway). Take Metro's Red Line to the Medical Center Metro station. From the station, NIH employees or those with visitor badges can take the "Executive Plaza" (also known as the orange route) shuttle bus, which drops you off in front of building 6001. You can also exit the Red Line at the North Bethesda Station and walk to the Neuroscience Center Building or board a Ride-On bus for service along Executive Boulevard. Travelers from the Greenbelt area looking for public transit to Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) typically use the MARC Train (Camden Line) from Greenbelt Station to BWI Airport Rail Station or take Amtrak/MARC from Union Station.

Building Access and Security
All visitors must pass through campus security and will be required to show one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID-driver's license, passport, green card, etc.) and to state the purpose of their visit. Please allow up to 30 minutes to clear security.
