2021 Annual Meeting of the NCI Cohort Consortium (Overview)

Overview

The 2021 Annual Meeting of the NCI Cohort Consortium will be held virtually on November 15, 2021, 8:00-12:00 PM ET and November 16, 2021, 1:00-5:00 PM ET. The meeting is sponsored by the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program) and the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), with a goal to bring together consortium researchers to discuss emerging science, scientific progress of consortium projects and groups, gaps and opportunities for collaboration across studies, and ideas for new scientific projects in the consortium.

The main meeting is organized into two half days on November 15, 8:00-12:00 PM ET and November 16, 2021, 1:00-5:00 PM ET. See Agenda for details on the main meeting. Project group meetings are scheduled to take place in September and October before the main meeting. See the meeting schedule under Project Group Meetings. Meeting attendees can select which projects group meetings they are interested in attending via registration.

Individuals interested in presenting a 5 min pitch for a new project idea or to share interesting results can sign up to participate in the Lightning Talk session on November 15 via registration as well. The deadline to sign up for a lightning talk is October 4, 2021.

The registration deadline is November 8, 2021. A summary and recording of the main meeting will be available after the meeting.
