NCI Workshop on Biospecimen Resources for Proteogenomic Characterization (Overview)

Overview

The mission of the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) is to enhance the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of cancer development through integrated analysis of genomics and proteomics (proteogenomics), and imaging; generate community resources of data, protocols, and reagents; and accelerate the clinical translation of proteomic technologies. This workshop aims to pinpoint biospecimen resources that can be leveraged to achieve these goals and broaden the scope of CPTAC.

This virtual workshop will focus on successes and challenges related to obtaining/utilizing biospecimens and identifying biospecimen resources for the comprehensive characterization of cancer through proteogenomic approaches.
