SciPhD Certificate Program

Objectives: The "Business of Science" course is structured to teach practical skills that are valued by industry. The skills taught during the course are specific to teach business and social skills necessary to be competitive and successful in the professional marketplace. Each workshop includes lecture, individual and group work, and practical hands-on examples.

Upon successful completion of the course, fellows will have an opportunity to practice their new skills by participating in NCI’s Explore On-Site (EXPOSE) program. Fellows who elect to participate will be sent a link to sign up for site visits, held in May and June, to local companies and organizations. The “Business of Science” course is a pre-requisite for EXPOSE.
